Born in 1997, Nick came to music at age 6 when he started studying Violin with Ann Hammond. He later came to the piano and studied with Anthea Prior and later Sophia Mckett. He came to the organ in 2013 when and started lessons with Dominic Carter and later with Daniel Moult.

From 2004 to 2014, he studied at West Buckland School in North Devon where he worked as Chapel organist playing for the school assemblies and the regular boarder's services at East Buckland Church. In 2014, he moved to the specialist music school, the prestigious Wells Cathedral School where he would study for his A levels alongside Organ with Daniel Moult and Piano with Sophia Mckett.

In 2015, he was appointed Organ Scholar of St John the Baptist in Glastonbury to work alongside Derek Dorey, assisting in the rehearsing and running of the choir. Playing for weekly communion services and regular Cathedral Evensong services.

He performs regularly in the Wells Cathedral Student Organist recitals.
